Privacy Policy

We take your privacy seriously. That's why this policy is longer than most of our articles.

Last updated: When we remembered we needed one.

What We Collect

Honestly, not much. We use GitHub Pages, which means whatever GitHub collects, they collect. We collect basically nothing, because we don't have the technical infrastructure to collect anything. We are, in data privacy terms, the digital equivalent of a hermit living in a cave.

Cookies

We don't use cookies. If you find a cookie on this site, it wasn't us. It was probably a third-party tracker that we didn't invite and can't get rid of. Think of it like that one relative who shows up uninvited to every family gathering and you just have to accept it.

Third Parties

This site is hosted on GitHub Pages and may include Google Fonts. Both of these services have their own privacy policies that are much more comprehensive and much less entertaining than this one. We recommend reading them if you have trouble sleeping.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Not visit this website
  • Close this tab at any time
  • Clear your browser history so nobody knows you were here
  • Pretend you never read any of this

Data Retention

Any data we accidentally collect will be retained until either someone asks us to delete it or we remember it exists, whichever comes first. Given our track record, it will probably be the latter.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time, though we probably won't. If we do, the "Last updated" date will change, which is the only way anyone would ever notice.

Contact

For privacy-related inquiries, we suggest writing a letter and burying it in your garden. If the universe wants us to find it, we will.
